The Dynamo/Tornado Elite Foosball Table is a commercial quality foosball table designed for home use. With all of its impressive features, it will take center stage in your game room. Made of MDF, this beautiful gaming table has a durable exterior laminate with Victorian Cherry finish. Leg pad and down corner construction give the table added stability. The playing field is .75-inch thick with 1.5-inch sidewalls. Adjustable commercial grade leg levelers keep the playing field level, and a dual side ball return keeps the game moving. Precision ground balls provide the smoothest and most accurate play available, while tabletop abacus scorers make keeping score easy. The tournament-style 3-man goalie rods keep the ball inplay even in corners for continuous action.
Assembly is required. Tornado foosball tables come with a pre-assembled cabinet. Finishing the assembly process only requires attaching the legs to the table and the men to the rods. I bought this table as a gift, and after setting up a time to get it delivered, we noticed that the box it came in was completely damaged and part of the table was damaged as well. We were able to send the table back, however, when we called Hayneedle customer service, they told us that they needed to wait for the original foosball table before they could credit our money back and for them to send out a new table. We were not pleased at all because it wasn't our fault that the table was damaged. Because it was a gift, I didn't like the idea that it would be another 2-4 weeks late. I called Hayneedle back and the representative was extremely helpful. He was able to talk to his manager and get the money back to our account and was able to send out a new table! This representative went above and beyond, and he is the main reason why I would come back to Hayneedle.com. The table itself is a great quality piece, and is a great fit for all levels from beginners to competitive. I would highly recommend it!!

Other reviewers commented they had an easy assembly; that was not my experience. It took two very crafty guys over five hours to get all men on the rods and pins in place. The good news: tolerances are precise and table is solid. That's also the bad news. Several of the rod ends were just slightly larger than openings in men, preventing them from sliding on. Between loads of lube, tapering the rod ends with dremel, and ample elbow grease, it finally came together! And just hours before my kids awoke to see what Santa had delivered...phew! Now that it's together, loads of fun and an excellent quality table. Hope your assembly experience is more pleasant than mine. All said, I'd buy it again and have more beer for my father-in-law.

Overall, this is an excellent table. Dynamo/Tornado is in a league of its own. That said, I expected better quality control for the price. We've had 10+ rods replaced due to flaking chrome, bent rods and incorrectly-drilled rod holes. Our table gets a lot of use as its in a common room at a company (2-3 half-hour games weekdays). But, this is supposed to be a tournament-quality table! Quality control is clearly lacking. OTOH, customer service has been very good, sending us replacement parts as needed and not requiring us to send back damaged parts.
One unexpected plus was that this table is quieter than the table it replaced (Harvard).

The factory pre drilled holes were in the wrong place for the legs. I had to fill the pre drilled holes with glued in wood dowls and then re drill the holes properly. Other than that it was fairly easy to assemble.
