shoddy construction
plastic grips fall off and after a few times putting back on will not be able to go back on as they will break
need to continually tighten the bolts or it will loosen
that being said it is a hit with kids, it makes a great gift as kids eyes light up and other kids will think you and your son are awesome for having such a cool toy, so it is great while it lasts but dont expect it to last longer than 3 months of regular kid usage

This was bought as a Christmas present to my 6 yr old nephew. His exact words when he opened it "I've always wanted this!" When it was finally assembled, I was surprised as to the quality of the item. I expected the rods to be a little rough with rotation but it was pretty smooth for the price. Very pleased with the product!
