This is a great beginner table. It is very easy to assemble and very sturdy. Do not be concerned that the table separates into two halves. They easily stay together with the net clamp. We play on carpet and have not had any issues with table coming apart. The table does seem to scratch easily and the white painted trim is definitely not perfect (ours came with several scratches and touch ups). Otherwise, it is a nice table and the price with free shipping is great.

This table is relatively easy to assemble, the quality of the table is well worth the price. It takes sometime to level both pieces of the table and then you can clamp them together. The table has a fresh paint smell, hope the smell will disappear in a few weeks. Overall, a good buy. Hayneedle provides free-shipping, discount code and no tax, much better than elsewhere.

Really nice table for the price. Well constructed and very easy to setup. Really like that you can use either half of the table independently for other purposes.
